It is also very useful to have photographs of the wall where the painting will hang so that the impacts of natural and artificial lighting can be considered when choosing a palette, medium and surface treatment. I find that it is helpful to provide a visual for clients and to this end I will generate a rough sketch or digital sketch of the proposed painting set into a photograph of the client’s space for final approval together with a time-frame for completion of the painting, drying time, delivery date and shipping charges.

Once we finalize everything, I send a link for the deposit, which is half the cost of the painting. When the deposit is received, I will order in stretcher bars, canvas and paint.  For works over 36’x48” I use Museo brand (museum quality) aluminum stretcher bars.

As the painting progresses, I will send you weekly email updates with photographs/videos so that your client can see that their commission is underway.  Once the painting is completed, I will send high resolution photographs and a video for final approval. Once approved, I will send a PayPal link for final payment which will include the shipping charges. We can then arrange a date and location for shipping (after painting is dry) and I will have the painting crated and provide a delivery date and tracking number.

I am currently accepting new commissions based on my current ’Catwalk’ collection. I do accept a few commissions, from time to time, based on paintings in my older collections.

In addition to selling my work from the studio, galleries, fairs and online, I love creating new commissions for collectors and designers who are seeking a custom sized piece or a specific palette.

Having worked in the fashion business in NYC for many years, for companies such as Dior and Nautica, I can understand the pressures and workload of a busy creative professional. My experience working at an executive level in Manhattan taught me professionalism and the importance of a personal work ethic. I know the need for good communication and the ability to meet deadlines and I want to make the process of purchasing paintings from my studio as smooth and as efficient as possible.

I find that most of the time when new collectors or designers speak with me, they have already seen my paintings at art fairs, galleries or my website but may be seeking a larger work or desire a commission for a painting that is in a similar style and palette to a work that has already been sold.

I am happy to discuss your size requirements and orientation to create a commissioned painting for a residential or commercial interior and to discuss the aesthetics, palette and materials related to similar paintings on my website which can serve as the genesis for the commissioned piece.
