FAQ

The painting I like is no longer available, what can I do?

I love to work on commissions! If you see a painting that is no longer available or would like a different size please email me at susan @ susanwashingtonfineart.com with some of the details, the name of the piece you are interested in and where you saw us originally. Someone will get back to you within 24 hours to discuss your new work of art. We start the process with a detailed discussion, tell me what you love about the original piece and what size you need. I then prepare the game plan and the pricing. My work is all based on a square footage charge so it’s all consistent. A deposit of half the cost is made up front so I can order supplies and stretchers and in about a week or so I start to send you photos of the work in progress so you can see how it’s coming along. When I am done, I send high res photos and a video for your final approval. The second half of the payment is made, I crate the work and get it off to you within 2 weeks. You fall in love! Yay! There is a no return policy on commissions as the process is totally transparent and you are receiving photos every step of the way.

Do you have other artwork available that is not shown on your website?

Yes! I do! If you want to see a list of all available works please email me and I can send you a pdf file with all works available and pricing.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! I do! Please purchase work directly from my Saatchi Art page if you are interested in having the work ship internationally. I have work all over the world: Singapore, Africa, Portugal, Belgium, UK.

What about a studio visit?

I love studio visits. My studio is about 1.5 hours from NY and about the same from Philadelphia. And if you come in the spring or summer I will take you out to my garden for cocktails too! But please, make an appointment by emailing or calling so I know you are coming.
