About this piece:

“Stay Wild” started as a whisper in Jackson Hole, during a campaign inspired by Charlie Chaplin’s The Great Dictator. That speech stuck with me. The defiance. The call to wake up. The belief that we don’t have to follow the script.  Now it’s part of something bigger.

This piece holds that spirit and if you look close every phrase has a connecting story....

“We were born to be cowgirls.”

“Rope your dreams.”

“Stay wild.”

Every phrase is a declaration. Every layer is a choice not to blend in.

About this series:

My work tells visual stories rooted in memory and mantra - born from growing up in New York and reborn through bold, layered canvases that feel like the walls of the city itself: covered in graffiti, peeling posters, rust, and old stickers - marks stacked on top of each other, never fully erased, each layer adding to the story.

Lately, my focus has expanded West. My latest series draws inspiration from cowgirl iconography and Western landscapes, layered with the same urgency and empowerment that’s always fueled my practice. These pieces channel the strength of women who ride their own path, gritty, glamorous, unapologetic.

Each painting holds a personal mantra, words like resilience, freedom, or prosperity. These affirmations appear in scraps of song lyrics, quotes and text on the canvas. What results is a narrative built in layers- pop culture, empowerment, post-war American art, neo-expressionist energy, and personal iconography.
